Trick or Treating 09

Ivy and Lacey went trick or treating at the Mall and then around Poseyville. Madison was sick and not able to go with us this year. Ivy and Lacey loved getting to take turns to ring the doorbell.

Ivy turned 4 Oct. 29th

Because Ivy's birthday was not on her day of her party we had to give her a small private party. After she opened her presents she got to choose where to eat. Her choice was pizza hut.

Pumpkin Carving

On October 16th, I was working late for a teacher inservice day. When I got home I found these two on the porch carving pumpkins. I was soo happy to see them enjoying their time together. Scott informed me when Ivy saw him with a knife, that she went in and got her own. He came back onto the porch to find Ivy stabbing the pumpkin which about gave him a heart attack. I think he learned his lesson to keep a watchful eye.

Andy Homecoming 2009

On October 9, 2009, Andalusia celebrated homecoming. A day full of festivities at the high school. I had to run around like a wild lady getting the parade ready to go then I ran to catch the parade with Ivy, Nana, Lynn and Madison. That night Ivy was a flower girl along with my friend Angie Grimes little girl, Sara Beth, and Coach Seymore's son Drew. Ivy suprisingly did a great job with a little assistance from the court to direct her to the right girl. It was really cute. Go Andy Bulldogs. And yes, I said that even though I'm a Pleasant home graduate. ha ha

Madison's 4th birthday

On October 3rd we went to Madison's birthday party at Guardian Angel. A special character showed up just for Madison... Minnie Mouse. Ivy had a great time playing with her friends.

Gatlinburg Fall 2009

We went to Gatlinburg last year and had a blast, but we missed the beautiful leaves changing color. We decided to go again and it was beautiful! We traveled through Cades Cove and went to the Aquarium. We love to travel and doing it as a family just makes us grow stronger as a family unit. Thank you to God, that we are able to do this. It's very important to us and we may go without other things so that we're able to enjoy our time together.
