Simple things = big reminders

I received this text this morning from Scott. Just a simple reminder of how wonderful he is and how Ivy and I are sooo blessed to have him for a father and a husband. This is a pic that's in his office.

Jenn's Wedding

A few pics from the wedding. Being in Jenn's wedding and having to manage a 5 year old flower girl kind of killed my picture taking for the day. Hopefully, as Leigh Anne finishes I'll be able to post more from the day. Sooo very happy for my besty getting married! I love you Jenn Lee McClung!!!!

Ivy and Lily

Ivy has met a couple of neighborhood friends. She's LOVING and i do mean LOVING the idea of being independent. So to go to a friends house by herself just makes her day. Her friend Lily lives around the block. She's not able to go there completely by herself, but her Aunt Jenn (AKA-my best friend Jennifer Lee or now Jennifer McClung) lives up the road from Lily. Ivy and Lily make lots of trips to Jennifer's house. I'm sure beginning to outgrow their welcome. Anyways, here are some pics Jenn caught of these girls while they were out rambling the streets!

Ivy lost her second tooth June 11, 2011

While at the beach Ivy lost her second tooth. This girl was beyond excited as she knew a little more about the tooth fairy. Ivy got a seashell and 2 dollars this time. She says she's saving her money for Disney.

Gulf Shores with the Family

Scott's little sister Emily graduated from high school this year. I told her I would take her somewhere for the weekend. She chose the beaches of Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. I found a great little condo for an awesome price that was located directly on the little lagoon and a walk across the street to the beach. This weekend also was Scott's Bday. We had a great time and Ivy learned about the seagulls and if you feed them how thousands come. lol. thankfully we were about the only ones on the beach in our area so they were flying around other people. The only downfall to this trip was the beach. No matter what anyone thinks, I just believe the beaches Ft. Walton Beach and East are the most beautiful beaches. Still had a great weekend.

Tennis and swim lessons

Ivy has been doing tennis camp with Ginny Adams. Ginny has been doing a great job. I appreciate how great she has been with my little Ivy. She definitely has the patience and the management that my kiddo needs. Swim lessons have been at the City pool. We started off with a large group but i moved her to the next class that only has 3 kids. Ivy is doing great. Still needs work so we will probably continue through the summer taking lessons. She swims like a fish if her face is under water, but only spins in circles when she comes up for air. Practice practice practice... is what my baby needs.

Jackson Owen's Bday party

Jackson LOVES Mario brotheers and ofcourse Ivy had to dress as the princess of Mario Brothers for Jackson's Bday. This little guy has been my planned hubby for Ivy since the first day I put eyes on on his cute little curly headed self. Over the years i've grown to love his personality along with with his parents. He's a sweet sweet kiddo!

Blue Lake trip 2011

June 3, 2011, was our anniversary of 6 years. Scott took off work and instead of going out of town for dinner, we decided to take Ivy to Blue Lake. We had a great family outing. Ivy absolutely loved it!
