Halloween Party...2011

Unfortunately, I was unable to visit Ivy's class during their party. Thankfully, I got some copies from their morning. Mrs. Pouncey gave the kids these silly glasses. These pics looks as if they were enjoying theirselves.

Sarah Katherine's Bday

Scott took Ivy to Sarah Katherine's Birthday party as I went to a funeral. As you can see, Ivy was pretty shy and stood in the back a lot. Thankfully, Randy, SK's dad tagged me in some pics from the party.

We're going to Disney!!!

We kept this from Ivy as we wanted to surprise her on her bday. I had a friend make her a minnie mouse shirt and I wrapped it up along with a letter explaining why we bought the shirt and Disney tickets. As much as Ivy has been asking and saving her pennies for Disney, I thought for sure she would be ecstatic. She was more excited about the shirt and was like oh we're going to Disney. I dont think she quite understood since it wasn't a tangible object. Since then, she's been counting down the days. We've been online searching out what all we plan to do this time since we have several days in the park.

Happy 6th Smurfday, Ivy!

Well, Ivy turned 6. Yes, I can not believe it nor can I stop the clock.... Ivy decided she wanted to have a smurf party this year. All because her momma had one at her one of her bdays as a little girl (I can't remember which one). This was the first time I invited a lot of kiddos to one of her parties. It was a great time. Ivy had a BLAST!!!

The loot..... This girl racked up!! All of her friends know her too well I guess. She got lots of crafty things which makes me happy cause we get to spend quality time together making them.
My dear sweet friend, Judy! Sooo wish we lived closer, but I can handle Troy.. it's only 45 min.

Ivy Kate, Katie K, Brynnleigh and Ivy Rose (I had to post this pic w/ both Ivys).

Cupcakes for ivy's bday at school - Pouncey/K

I decided I not only wanted to drop off cupcakes, I wanted to visit Ivy on her special day. I got special permission to run over to aes to visit Ivy on her special day. Scott decided he wanted to bring his guitar and sing her happy bday. The kids LOVED it, but Ivy was a little embarrassed. I guess that whole shy thing really kicked in. I myself, thought it was precious. Mrs. Pouncey had a gift for Ivy and so did Tambry, Mrs. P's daughter. Ivy was ecstatic about her gifts. We have actually been searching high and low for Mrs. P's gift and low and behold they had them at Target. I visited with Ivy and her sweet friends for a bit and then headed back to AHS.

Acro parent observation fall 2011

I took mostly videos of ivy's tumbling, but here were some of her stretching and strengthening her muscles. Enjoyed watching these girls. Mrs. Shelly does a great job!

Pumpkin carving 2011

Thank goodness Scott does this job. I honestly would have no idea where to begin.
