A proud mama

Ivy comes home with a big sticker on her dress saying GREAT READER.  So I'm asking her tons of questions on how she got it.  Well she just tells me to keep guessing.  Finally, I said you made a 100 on an AR test.  Well she said yes and she had gone to read to the principal and got a token.  Later that evening Mrs. P. calls and asks me if Ivy told me what she did today.  As I wasn't quite sure what she was meaning, I asked.  Well, Ivy went and read to Mrs. Rogers's (no relation except church family) first grade class.  While I am so excited that she read to first graders, I'm more excited of the fact she went all by herself.  I am soo appreciative of Mrs. P as she is really working on her shyness.  Love my girl!!!
