Disney 2010

We made our first trip to Disney this weekend. I was hesitant as I was not sure how Ivy would do being only 4. She had the time of her life. Scott and myself felt like kids again. Everything was soooo magical that we both did not want to return to reality. The first day we took Ivy to Bippity Boppity Boutique to be totally transformed into a princess. SHE LOVED IT!! The whole weekend people were calling her princess and when we boarded the bus, it would make an announcement that everyone should be on their best behavior as royalty has just entered the bus. We traveled over to Epcot to the Akershus Royal Ball to have dinner with the princesses. Ivy was sooo shy bless her heart. She just could not hold in her smile though. We watched the firework show there and road a few rides. The next morning we headed to Magic Kingdom to have breakfast with Cinderella and her friends at the castle. We spent the day there and watched the fireworks show there that night. We rode most all the rides in Fantasy Land and headed over to Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. I was a little nervous but Ivy did great. She wanted to ride them over and over again. About midnight we went to Mickey and Minnie's house to see if they were home. Yes, they were and had no company. Ivy had them all to herself. The next day we went to Animal Kingdom and did the Safari. It began raining so we went back to our place (Coronado Springs - beautiful) and took a nap. That night we ate dinner with Mickey and his friends at Chef Mickey's. The entire weekend was beyond awesome. Scott actually teared up the lastnight as we were watching the fireworks and Ivy was sitting in his lap. He said that was the only time she would be 4 at Disney World. I teared up when he shared this. The experience was beyond magical and I can NOT wait to go back. I may have to take out a second mortgage to pay for this trip, but it was worth EVERY penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much fun!! We're planning to do the Disney World trip in another year or so - it looks like 4 was a good age.

My favorite pictures are of you and her in front of the castle and the one of Scott and Ivy during the fireworks!! Love those!

I absolutely love the picture of Ivy and Scott watching the fireworks. Awesome! She looks so different with her hair pulled back like that! What a beautiful little princess. I can't wait to take Madison but it will probably be a couple of years. Great pics!
